Now is the time for great mercy from God. God revealed this to Saint Faustina in the 1920s and 1930s and is now calling everyone to clear their conscience and embrace His infinite mercy. God told her that "The greatest sinners can achieve great sanctity if they trust in His mercy."  St. Faustina conversed regularly with God, and God revealed His plan for Divine Mercy for the whole world. God desires that people Trust in His Mercy and ask for forgiveness from God, especially on Mercy Sunday, the Sunday following Easter Sunday (3/30/08). God is especially delighted by souls who trust in His Mercy no matter how sinful their past whereas He is hurt by souls who mistrust His mercy or fail to approach His mercy. Mercy is God's great attribute as He is the King of Mercy!

 Helen Kowalska (Saint Faustina) was born in a small town in Poland called Glogowiec in 1905. At the age of 18, she attended a local dance where everyone was having a good time where all of a sudden, God spoke these words to her "How long shall I put up with you and and how long will you keep putting me off?" She immediately ran off to a Chapel to pray. From that moment on, Saint Faustina entered an amazing journey with God where He revealed much about life, death, life with God and the special Divine Mercy He is making available to all people who Trust in His Mercy. Saint Faustina is one of the few souls that God selects to live a special mystical life where she converses with God, guardian angels, and people who have past onto eternity. By reading her diary, we can learn more about God, the spiritual world as well as life in eternity. She was canonized a Saint by Pope John Paul II on Mercy Sunday (Sunday after Easter) April 30, 2000. Divine Mercy Sunday is April 23, 2006. (Incidentally, John Paul II passed into eternity on the vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday)

 Some conversations between God and Saint Faustina as found in her amazing diary.

 -When St. Faustina complained about the apparent lack of justice as sinners do not appear to be punished for the sins they commit nor do they care to repent, God responded "I have all eternity for punishing these sinners, and so I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation. My daughter, secretary of My mercy, your duty is not only to write about and proclaim My mercy, but also to beg for this grace for them, so that they too may glorify My Mercy." Diary Passage 1160 

-When St. Faustina was contemplating fear of the difficulties she would encounter, God said "Know that I am with you; I bring about the difficulties, and I overcome them; in one instant, I can change a hostile disposition to one which is favorable to this cause". Diary Passage 788 

-On one occasion, one of St. Faustina's fellow nuns had asked for forgiveness from God several times for the same sins, yet her friend was not sure if God had forgiven her yet she was very troubled and asked St. Faustina for guidance. God told St. Faustina "Tell her that her disbelief wounds My heart more than the sins she committed". Diary Passage 628 

Everyone is invited to take advantage of God's mercy, especially the greatest sinners for God told St. Faustina that "let no soul fear to draw near me, even though its sins be many" Diary, 699 

God's Mercy is available for all people who ask, at the very least pray to God everyday,  "God, Have Mercy on me a sinner" or "Jesus, I trust in your Mercy. "  Nothing else is more important than to seek God's mercy and forgiveness and to spread the good news about His Divine Mercy to everyone you know.
